Field Notes:

To set the year of right I decided to wake up early on New Year’s Day.  Originally I was going to play some hockey with friends but that idea fell through.  I was up before dawn with nothing to do except catch the sunrise.  With no destination in mind I just headed east, outside of Calgary until I found something interesting.  Not a bad start to the New Year.
