For the third image in my New Dawn series I decided to head west of Calgary. The previous two years I drove east to see what I could find. This year, I thought of the rolling hills would provide some interesting details. As I reflected on 2014 I thought of it as a year of many changes. I was excited for the prospect of the new year, new beginnings and wanting to look at the world with fresh eyes. A few minutes after I created this image I saw a herd of cattle crossing the horizon; was it a sign of things to come?
